Home vrs Business Router Performance
I need a new router for home but need something that will alow me to make an IPsec tunnel to my office. So it seems no home router will do that so I have to go the business route. My questions is how does say a RAX80 compare to a FVS318N?
I know the Wifi tech is way different between the two. I guess the biggest thing is performance for streaming HD (BLURAY) video around the house and from the internet. Is the business router not built for that task.

They don't. Apples and oranges. The RAX80 is a router. The FVS318N is a (discontinued?) Firewall switch.

Ask whoever provides the tunnel? Even better, ask the office?

Re: Home vrs Business Router Performance
LOL I am the office and I supply the tunnel. Currenty using a WRVS4400N router at home and need to replace it. Seems none of the home based routers supprt Ipsec any more.
