OS
Windows 10
Netgear MK62
Firmware version V1.0.6.102_2.0.45
Netgear modem CM1000
download speed up to 1.0ghz
Just setup MK62 wifi6 mesh network router & satellite
but I don't see the option to connect to either 2.4ghz or 5ghz?
I see where I think it suggest I need a range extender?
I'm hoping that's not the case as I would rather upgrade modem
to CM7000 to increase download speed to possible 1.8ghz
Thanks,
Ron

Not really.
I still have no idea what you mean by "I don't have the option to connect to _5ghz"
What do you expect to see?
Orbi wifi does not differentiate between 2.4 GHz and 5 MHz. It has a single SSID for both bands. (Look at the manual.) That is the whole point of the Mesh technology that you just installed.
If you can see the SSID, your wifi clients will pick the best one for them. Depending on the strength of the signal.

Connect what to the wifi?
You have plugged the MR60, the MK62's router, into the CM7000?

Re: MK62 5ghz
This is the current configuration:
OS
Windows 10
Netgear MK62
Firmware version V1.0.6.102_2.0.45
Netgear modem CM1000
download speed up to 1.0ghz
------------------------------------------------------------
I hope to upgrade to the CM7000 so I can increase my
download speed from 1.0ghz to 1.8ghz but first I need
to figure out why I'm not seeing the option to connect to
5ghz vs 2.4ghz.
thanks

We still don't know what the problem is.
Connect what to the wifi? And wifi from what? The router or the satellite?
