MK83 with AC1900 Cable ModemRouter

Will a Knighthawk MK83 Mesh Tri-band Wi-Fi 6 work properly with a KnightHawk AC1900 Wi-Fi Cable Modem Router Model C7000v2? The MK83 router would be connected to another router (the AC1900). Will this pose and limitation regarding download/upload speed? Dual- vs tri-band performance? TIA

   It can.

Cascading multiple routers can cause multiple problems, but whether
either of these devices acts as a router is your choice.

You could configure the C7000v2 as a modem-only, and disable its
router functions.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number
(C7000v2), and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).
Read.  Look for "Connect Your Modem Router to a Router After
Installation and Activation".

If you want to continue to use the router section of the C7000v2,
then another option would be to configure the MK83 as a wireless access
point.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number (MK83),
and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.
Look for "Set up the router as a WiFi access point".
