Netgear EAX80 why no support for LACP?
Bit of a rant and first post but interested to know why the Nighthawk EAX80 Mesh extenders support AP mode but not 802.3ad link aggregation. Is this on the roadmap?
More importantly, Netgear RAX80 etc use 802.3ad Link Aggreation Control Protocol (LACP) and not Multigig 802.3bz, however your advertising states that it does. This is deceptive marketing language in my opinion and should be removed.
Finally, given you are now touting 802.11ax speeds, AP mode on mesh extenders would be better suited to using 802.3bz for 2.5Gbps and higher since the devices now have such bandwidth, don't you think? Is this planned?

Hi NettyBloke, thanks for your question but we do not have visibility if the mentioned features will be rolled out.

Re: Netgear EAX80 why no support for LACP?
Thanks for getting back to me. As a thought for your consumers using AP mode with Multigig 802.3bz will save on internal cabling costs and get the fuller use of bandwidth. Again, thanks.
