Nighthawk AX8 Orange Power LED

My Nighthawk AX8 is one month out of warranty, and it seems like it may have self-updated and bricked itself over night (or had some other issue rendering it unusable). I went to bed with everything working normally, didn't perform any updates or change any router settings.
This morning, I woke up and the power LED is orange, the WIFI light is white, but I'm unable to see either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz networks, and wired ethernet is not working/detected either. I have tried to power cycle, hard reset, and even left it off for a while and turned it back on. I'm using a backup router using the same ethernet cables and power outlet, so I know these aren't the issue. Is there any way to fix this issue or is my router now a very expensive paper weight? If the issue is a firmware issue, is there a way to manually install firmware that makes it work again?
Thank you.

You can try recovering it via tftp.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide

just make sure you enable tftp

and here's a video walk through.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

Re: Nighthawk AX8 Orange Power LED
This seems to have worked! Thank you.
One item of note -- when actually running the command to push the firmware from my PC to the router, the request hung for a few minutes and then said something about failing, but then the router lights changed to white and started blinking. I'm assuming it worked, because the router seems to be working for now.
