Nighthawk RAX200 as APs across home
Brand new home built with Cat8 wiring to every level. Can I put RAX200's on each floor and set them as APs and connect them with a netgear switch to create a wired mesh with the same SSID to cover the entire house?
3 kids and a ton of devices so the Orbi mesh networks keep getting bogged down. Hoping the wired implementation will save us some backhaul bandwidth.
thank you!

Re: Nighthawk RAX200 as APs across home
The only problem is its not a mesh system. You can use the same ssid but it won't roam like a mesh system would.
You'd be better to look at the orbi AX system versus multiple RAX200's.

1 - thank you for the info
2 - what will the difference be compared to the orbi mesh systems?
my existing orbi system bogs down due to nest cams, Apple TV's, etc - just trying to takes advantage of the wiring
