ORBI 960 no 2.4GHZ internet.

I have a system of 3 Satellites and 1 router of ORBI 960, FW: V6.0.3.85_3.1.15. I tried to turn on the IOT network with 2.4ghz only. The system broadcast the SSID, and I can connect to it, however, when I run speed test, it gave me a ping of 2562 (crazy high ping) and about 0.5 mbps in speed. This is ridiculously low. I can not connect any of my smart devices to it including:

-Eightsleep Mattress
-20 brilliant smart home controls
-All the google nest hub, mini, smart home devices,
-6 Arlo cameras

-6 Wyze v3 cameras

-MyQ garage opener.

I tried to factory reset, even swap out for 3 set of new router and Satellites, set CTS/RTS Threshold to 500, uncheck the box Enable 20/40 MHz Coexistence and manually set the channel to 1 6 and 11, NON OF THEM work in any combinations.

Please help me!

Re: ORBI 960 no 2.4GHZ internet.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

If you turn OFF the RBS, does the IoT network with with the RBR alone?

Does the devices connect if you set 2.4 and 5Ghz enabled on the IoT network?

Re: ORBI 960 no 2.4GHZ internet.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

=> it's the Xfinity Gateway Gen 3

If you turn OFF the RBS, does the IoT network with with the RBR alone?

=> There is no 2.4Ghz internet in general, not only for the IOT. I put 2.4Ghz only for the IOT to test, and it does not have any internet. The main internet and guest internet work perfectly with 5.0Ghz, but still no 2.4Ghz, all devices require 2.4Ghz can not connect to any of the SSID.

When I first set up with only 1 RBR, No RBS, it has 2.4Ghz, however, it's at 0.5-1.0 Mbps, it's almost nothing.

Does the devices connect if you set 2.4 and 5Ghz enabled on the IoT network?

=> When I set 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz combine then IOT just like regular SSID and Guest wifi, it works only with 5.0 devices, not 2.4 devices => meaning still no 2.4 Ghz broadcasting.

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

If after turning off any WIFI radios on the ISP modem and powering OFF the Orbi system for 1 minute then back on and doing a factory reset on the RBR and setup from scratch, does not bring back 2.4Ghz connectivity, you'll need to contact NG support and open a support ticket: https://my.netgear.com/support/contact.aspx

Re: ORBI 960 no 2.4GHZ internet.

Yes I already did all the above, and contacted Orbi. No solution. They have been escalated to engineers level, but I never hear back.
