Problem with connecting WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra to Nighthawk RAX45
The NETGEAR Nighthawk AX6 6-Stream AX4300 WiFi Router is not listed in the above model number list, first off.
Secondly, I had my WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra connected through one of the wired ports to my Netgear R6100 router and it was working just fine. I had the subnet set to 192.168.25.0/24 with my router at 192.168.25.1 and a static IP address of 192.168.25.3 for my WD My Cloud EX2. I could see the NAS on the network, I could ping the address, I could view the files stored on it with Windows File Explorer with no problems.
I bought the new Nighthawk RAX45 yesterday and got it set up on the appropriate subnet. I have all of my other devices attached to the new router just fine, whether wired or wireless, DHCP or static IP address. The WD My Cloud EX2 will not show up on the router. The LED for the wired port does not light up, on the WD My Cloud EX2, it shows a solid red light on the power LED, indicating no network connection. I have tried multiple ports with multiple network cables, all with the same result. I have tried other network devices with the same ports and the same cables and they have worked successfully. I have plugged the WD My Cloud EX2 back into the Netgear R6100 router and it works perfectly.
This one has me stumped! I see nothing on the Nighthawk RAX45 to tweak any protocols or something like that on the wired ports. I need some help!

By the way, as far as experience goes, I am a retired Network Specialist.
