RAX 200 ReadyShare NTFS vs exFAT/exFAT32

When I connect a NTFS device to the USB port it will be recognized however, if I connect an exFAT or exFAT32 formated device it will not be recognized by the router.

I called Techsupport which gave me no answer.

Is there a way to have exFAT and exFAT32 devices added with the next firmware update.

I have attached a device that will not work when plugged in to RAX200 router but will work on any other device.

No EXFAT support.

EXFAT was only relatively recently made license free by Microsoft and Linux will include a Samsung derived version of it in an upcoming Kernel. So maybe Netgear will eventually backport it once the official implementation is stable.
