RAX200 DHCP drops connection for all clients

For some reason when DHCP renew happens on one device in my network it slows down all the other clients connected, even so much that it stops resolving sites or disconnect the clients from the service it stays like that for beetwen 30sec to 2min, it happens around the same time every day.

I have even assigned adress reservation and it still does DHCP for the device.
In the logs it requests DHCP 3 times in a row for the same client.

To add to it, for some reason it shows up as Network in connected devices.

I even blocked the device now and still it asks for DHCP and still says as attached device.

   Firmware version?  Connected to what?

> [...] when DHCP renew happens on one device in my network [...]

   What is that "one device"?

If the (DHCP server on the) router is granting some device the same
IP address three times in two minutes, then I'd guess that that device
is sending three address requests in two minutes, and I'd wonder why
that device would do that.  And what other strange things it might also
be doing.

Why blame the router, and not the "one device"?

Address Reservation is a DHCP feature, not a replacement for DHCP.

Terminology: A "static" address is configured on the device itself.
What you configure on a (DHCP server on a) router is a reserved dynamic
address, not a static address.

Did you restart the router?  I wouldn't bet that "blocking the
device" would disconnect a connected device.

Re: RAX200 DHCP drops connection for all clients

Thank you for answering @antinode

I'm running the latest firmware: V1.0.3.106_1.0.58

The device is a Aircleaner.

I did not have this issue with my Ubiquiti Amplifi HD. Never had drops so i did not check the logs, the device might have requested it 3 times then also, the wierd thing it is requesting it every hour sometimes.

I have blocked the device, restarted the router. The device still showed up in connected device so i have now unplugged it.

I will see if i have the same issue the comming couple of days when the device is powered off.

If it is only that device i will reset it and not connect it to the WiFi. But i never had the issue on my Amplifi HD that is why I'm saying something is up with the router.

The device is a electrolux Pure A9.
When i start it up again this happens. ( i removed the static IP)

Do you mean the (DHCP -- "D" for "Dynamic") Address Reservation?
(Which is not a "static" IP address?)
