RAX200 Second 5ghz no 4800 Mode
Is there a reason on my rax200 I cant see the 4800 option on my second 5ghz channel? See sreecn shots. I can see the channels like 161 and such but it only has the option for 2400. On the fir...

for 160hz wide channels, it uses from channels 36-64 and then channels 100-128
The rest aren't wide enough to support 160hz. And canada has channels 114, 118-128 as not usable.
So in canada, you wouldn't be able to have 2x 160hz wide spectrums like the US (and some other regions) does.
So you're only going to get "up to 4800mbps" on one set of channels. The other will only support 80hz wide and "up to 2400mbps"

that really sucks lol
not that I thought I would get full gigabyte speeds over wifi... but I thought I would get better than half. but then again using a apple products and they only use 2x2 anyways
Thanks for the help everyone! I didn't think Canada would block off a whole spectrum of channels so we can't use the full functionality 😞

With my iPhone 12 Pro Max it tops out at around 600-700Mpbs on AX mode, however that's in line of sight and fairly close range. My Mac Book Pro 2018 connects at 1300Mpbs AC, however it tops out at around 500-700Mpbs depending on range and such. Otherwise, speeds are good with these Apple devices.

that is kind of what I get, if I am close to router I get about the same speeds maybe a little less.
I was just always expect faster, in the 700-800 range consistent but it is more like in the 400-500 range that is consistent.
After looking at the apple set up, I realized I would never get close to those speeds over wifi 😞

Correct.
