Re: RAX35 and RAX40

Hi JCM88,

Both the RAX35 and RAX40 can cover up to medium to large homes. Please keep in mind that WiFi range coverage can vary due to many factors such as home building material, amount of devices connected to the network, etc.

@arjun101

Main difference between the RAX35 and RAX40 is that the RAX40 is equipped with a USB 3.0 port.

Vores,

Yes, that will be the difference between the 2 routers. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'll have the document forwarded to the team for review.

Re: RAX35 and RAX40

No difference related to any other hardware, right?

Re: RAX35 and RAX40

I can confirm that the RAX35 does not have a USB port. I bought one and just looked at the back.

Re: RAX35 and RAX40

I'm happy with it, but do a port scan as soon as you install it. Mine had a bunch of ports open besides 53 and 80. I'm trying to figure out which ones do not need to be open so I can close them. So far closing a few hasn't affected performance for what I do.

Re: RAX35 and RAX40

I have a RAX35.

How do you set the led lights so they blink (i.e. to indicate traffic). The led setting choices do no allow for blinking although I can disable blinking! This must be a bug in the firmware.

Thanks
