RAX45 firmware 1.0.2.72 on Web but update on router says 1.0.2.66 is latest
I see that netgear.com/support has RAX45 firmware 1.0.2.72 which I could download and install by upload, but I'm not sure I should do this because when I use the Router Web Interface either by a computer or by the Nighthawk app, checking for a firmware update tells me that my current 1.0.2.66 firmware is the latest. Why is the update check not getting 1.0.2.72? Should I download it to my computer, then use the Router Web Interface to upload it to the router?

Hello rusp,
Welcome to the community! Are you able to view FW v 1.0.2.72 available in the Nighthawk app/web interface now?

1.0.2.82 is out now and I had the same problem so I had to manually update.

Re: RAX45 firmware 1.0.2.72 on Web but update on router says 1.0.2.66 is latest
I didn't try the Nighthawk app, but I tried the Router Web Interface again, and it still said my 1.0.2.66 was the latest version, even though 1.0.2.82 was available to download. Using latest Windows 10, Ethernet connection directly to Router, and latest Firefox. However, I downloaded 1.0.2.82 manually from Support, and it uploaded to the Router fine, so I have 1.0.2.82 now, even though clicking Update (without giving it a file) in the Router Web Interface still doesn't recognize any new versions, and checking the checkbox for automatic updates surely wouldn't give me any updates.
