RAX50 AX5400 WAN disconnecting every 20 minutes
Hi,
I'v just purchased a new RAX50 in the UK and the WAN link seems to disconnect/drop regularly (around every 20 minutes).
Renewing the DHCP lease seems to reconnect.
I have FTTP which terminates and is coverted to RJ45 in the house. I've plugged my computer directly into the Ethernet and there are no problems at all. I've also connected a Plume HomePass device via Ethernet and that too works without problems.
I've seen a few simlar threads discussing similar issues but haven't founds any solutions that have resolved the problem so far.
Thanks.
Paul

Perform a factory reset and test. Use the rear pin hole reset method. If that fails reinstall the latest firmware manually and then perform a factory reset.
Do not use a saved profile, set the router up as new.

Re: RAX50 AX5400 WAN disconnecting every 20 minutes
Thanks. A bit more information as I've tried a few things already including:
1) I'm running the latest firmware 1.0.3.96
2) I've done a factory reset a few times
3) I've tried setting the WAN MTU to 1492
As a last resort I did try going back to the earliest firmware as I'd seen some folks with different devices indicating that solved a similar problem for them but no luck unfortunately!
