Re: RAX70 requires me to login to wifi repeatdly
You have the Rax70?
Firmware on it?
What modem/gateway is it connected to?
Wired devices don't have an issue?

Re: RAX70 requires me to login to wifi repeatdly
the 844g is a modem/router combo device. It causes a double nat. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
options? (only uses 1)
1. put the calix in modem only/passthrough mode. (not all passthrough modes work properly)
2. put the netgears IP address into the Calix's DMZ
3. put the netgear in access point mode.

Re: RAX70 requires me to login to wifi repeatdly
the best option would be what works for you and you're able to do easily in the future.
All of them would work but each has their own +/-'s

Re: RAX70 requires me to login to wifi repeatdly
1. putting the ISp device in modem only/passthrough mode. Cons- sometimes the isp doesn't set it up properly and you still run into issue. Or sometimes the isp doesn't have this mode. or it can impact TV service through the isp
2. Using dmz. Again, back tot he sketchy ISP service. Frequently with ISp supplied devices, we see issues with passthrough mode/dmz mode not setup properly.
3. Access point mode. It disables some features on the netgear router. If you don't use them or if you use them on the ISP router, then it isn't an issue. https://kb.netgear.com/26765/Which-features-are-disabled-on-my-NETGEAR-router-when-it-is-set-to-AP-M...
