RAX80 Factory reset after restart
Problem:
RAX80 reverts to factory settings after software or hard restart. It won't save any settings that requires a restart. I've see many discussion about this issue but none of them have a solution. The most useful info I got was,
from NickR40 2yrs ago:
"I think I may have identified the problem. I was able to telnet into the router and can see that the jffs devices have space issues.
On mtd:data the httpd_dbg.log file has grown to consume most of the device and any attempt I make to delete or truncate the log file just tells me that i can’t do it because there is no space on the device."
Things I've tried:
- Downgrade/upgrade to diff firmware most current "1.0.4.120" to any of the 4 avil ones
- 30,30,30 but I know it won't work on ARMs router but tried anyway...
- Hard reset with the button and pin
- Soft reset from the backup/restore menu
Hoping someone can expand further on the possible "jffs devices space issues" that may have caused this problem as I know I'm not the only one.
