RAX80 version 1.0.6.138 update cause loss of local access
After updating firmware to 1.0.6.138 I no longer have local access to the router. Only access is Anywhere using the Nighthawk app. I cannot login via web browser to upload previous firmware version to roll back. I factory reset and resetup the router and still don't have local access via the web browser.

Re: RAX80 version 1.0.6.138 update cause loss of local access
Were you reinstalling using the browser or the app?
What modem/gateway is it connected to?
Are you trying to access it using its ip address or the routerlogin address?

Re: RAX80 version 1.0.6.138 update cause loss of local access
Connected to Spectrum cable modem.
I've tried connecting using ip address and routerlogin.com.
The app shows no local available. After I reboot there is a short time I get a local connection, but it disappears before I can upload a rollback the previous firmware.

what spectrum modem?
After the factory reset (push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on) are you able to access it using the web browser?
If so, try that method of setup. I'm not a huge fan of the app

Re: RAX80 version 1.0.6.138 update cause loss of local access
that's still not a model. That just says you have a docsis 3.1 modem with voice.
its like a mechanic asking what car you have and saying, it has 4 wheels and seats 6 people.
Not trying to be an pain but sometimes people put a modem/router combo device before their router and it causes issues.
Its why we ask for a specific model number. the label should have it.

Thanks.
Its a modem only device.
Did you try the factory reset and reinstall using the browser (not app)
