My speed with my ISP is 150mbs. I know this because that’s what I get when I hook directly into my computer. As soon as I run it through my AX40 router my speed drops to around 70mbs and will fluctuate to 2mbs. What can I do about this? Didn’t have this problem with my last Netgear router. Really want some help. The speed also trends to the much slower rather that much faster.

Re: Slow speeds with new RX 40
Current RAX40 firmware version?
What shows the Speedtest (in the QoS menu)?
QoS enabled or disabled?

Re: Slow speeds with new RX 40
It might help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router. The model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?

AC 1900? Which one? Netgear alone makes dozens with that wifi standard.
• What is the difference between WiFi 6 and WiFi 7?
• Yes! WiFi 7 is backwards compatible with other Wifi devices? Learn more
