Hello EphraimB,

The RAX80 currently does not support this feature.

Re: Wake on Lan with RAX80

I have been able to use Wireless Wake-on-LAN in Windows 10 with my RAX80.  Here are the steps I took.

1. Enable WOL and/or wake on USB in the bios;

2. I have my router issue a static IP to my computer;

3. Set up the Dynamic DNS Netgear service on the router;

4. Forward port 7 to the computer;

5. Finally, I wake it up "RemoteBoot" (iphone app). I enter in my router's IP address, Mac address, port 7, and DNS address.

Hope that helps someone.

So I need port 7 and not port 9?

I used port 7. I do not recall if I tried 9 and it did not work. I did not need to forward both ports. However, you may need to try one then the other or both.

   If you're using a program which runs on some other system, then the
router itself is not really doing anything with WoL.

   You'd need to use whatever the WoL program needs you to use.  But,
again, it'd be the WoL program which would be doing the WoL work, not
the router.

   I know nothing, but I've never see WoL mentioned in the documentation
for any consumer-grade Netgear router.  I seem to recall seeing reports
here of people using a Raspberry Pi with a WoL program.  In that case,
too, the router would not be doing the actual WoL work.

I forgot to mention, I believe windows 10 requires you to turn off fast boot for WOL to work.

Re: Wake on Lan with RAX80

Go into the device manager, select your network adapter, and make sure you have enabled both "Allow this device to wake the computer" and "only allow a magic packet to wake the computer."
