Re: Wifi6

You don't say which router model you have.

Routing: NETGEAR R7800 - Voxel Firmware 1.0.2.88SF & Kamoj addon
Switching: 2x NETGEAR 8-ports (GS108v4) / 1x NETGEAR 16-ports (JGS516v2)
Desktop: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - Server: Intel Core i7-7700K - NAS: Intel Pentium G4400, 16 TB

Re: Wifi6

Do you have seperate SSIDs for each band? If so, does your iPhone see the 6 GHz/SSID band?

Re: Wifi6

No, the auto feature has worked fine before but this is the first AX device.

Re: Wifi6

if by auto feature you mean Smart Connect? If so, NG's implementation is rather buggy. Many times it is often better to have seperate SSIDs

Re: Wifi6

Yes I agree the software is "rather buggy" and the app is unacceptable, but why doesn't Netgear make necessary corrections so we do not have to do inconvenient workarounds. Thank you for your answer, but wouldn't it be Netgear responsibility to look into this? That is why they have NO direct way to message them.
