The back of the router indicated a SSID and Password. Do I use the same for both bands?

Sorry misunderstood what you where asking previsouly,
Abosolutly you can keep the bands seperate and your can create unique SSID's aswell as unique or seperate passwords for each band 🙂

Re: two bands and one SSID with Password
As long as you have enabled Smart Connect under the wirless settings on the router you will be able use both bands and one password and SSID. It will use the default network SSID and password details if you have not changed them.

Re: two bands and one SSID with Password
I would rather not use Smart Connect. Once I get access to the unit on the web, will I be then able to change to whatever I want for either band?
