Nighthawk X6 + S8000 + Readynas 212 advice needed
I have a Nighthawk X6 + S8000 switch + Readynas 212, what's the best order to connect these.
Should I connect the Readynas to the X6 or the S8000?
Also once I connect the S8000 to the X6 would I only connect devices to the ports on the S8000 or can I still use the ones on the X6?
Thanks in advance.

You should connect everything directly to the "X6" (not an actual
model number). but when it runs out of ports, you're stuck with adding a
network switch (to the small one which is built into the router), and
using its ports.
The switch will add a little latency, but you're unlikely to notice
it.

What you have matters less than who talks to whom. Ideally, the
fewer gizmos that need to handle the most data, the better off you'll
be. But the overhead imposed by one more network switch might be very
tough to detect.
