AC1750 Smart Wifi router not broadcasting a signal, says its offline
So bought this newer modem and has been working fine since we bought it. Now the Nighthawk app says the its offline. I have read to check the firmware but it keeps saying its not connected to the int...
Your a waste of time and you should stop trolling. So some of us dont speak networking or know all the proper terms, you dont have to be so brash or arrogant. But that's ok because I dont spend my time wasting it on waiting for you to answer instead of lenghty conversations.

Is that accurate? R6700[v1], R6700v2, or R6700v3? Look for "Model"
on the product label.

"it"? What, exactly, says what, exactly, whan you do what, exactly?

Does that modem have a model number? What, exactly, does "via LAN"
mean to you? An Ethernet cable from some port on one gizmo to some port
on some other gizmo, or what?

what, exactly, says what, exactly, whan you do what, exactly?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read.
Beyond the basic set-up instructions, look for the LED descriptions and
"Troubleshoot".
If problems remain, then something like "not working" is not a useful
problem description. It does not say what you did. It does not say
what happened when you did it. As usual, showing actual actions
(commands) with their actual results (error messages, LED indicators,
...) can be more helpful than vague descriptions or interpretations.

- On the forums on the site, about people having the same issue, however I cannot get the modem connected to the internet so I cannot check my version of the firmware of the Wifi router.

- I have tried following steps that one of the forums here listed to the letter and I am at a loss.
- Again the issue appears to be with comcast cable modem (just says its a Gateway cable modem)

"LAN" and "wired" are spelled differently for a reason."LAN" = "Local-Area Network". That would include both your wired and
wireless connections. The LAN Ethernet ports on your router are labeled
"LAN". There are no places to hang labels on wireless connections, so
they are not labeled "LAN" in the same way, but they're still part of
your LAN.

apparent to me, hence the question. I'd expect it to be easier to
answer the question than to argue about how irrelevant the answer might
