Somethings on the other end of that ethernet connection.
Maybe its an ont. maybe its an apartment supplied switch the supplies everyone with ethernet.
It can change your nat types.

If you're connecting your router (WAN/Internet port) to some other,
hidden router, over which you have no control, then there's not much
which you can do. Those options apply to the router closest to the
(actual) ISP, not to some add-on thing like your R7000 which isconnected to that router.
You might want to configure your R7000 as a wireless access point,
which might remove one layer of NAT, but that'd have privacy
implications between you and your neighbors.

assume, you don't.- I only have my router hooked up to my wall port that is provided by my ISP. I went to my router and put my PS4 IP address into the DMZ server and I still get NAT type 3.
