AC3200 R8000 TFTP Doesn't Work for Corrupted Firmware
Hi,
The power light is blinking-white.
I followed the TFTP procedure but when turning the router back on, the light goes directly to blinking-white, not blinking-amber, which doesn't allow me to upload the FW.
I also tried to reset, including 30-30-30, but nothing helped and the light just goes directly to blinking-white and the TFTP "put" gets a "time out" every time.
Any advice?
Thanks

Re: AC3200 R8000 TFTP Doesn't Work for Corrupted Firmware
Need to press the reset button for 30 seconds then release, then it send to PUT the command and upload the FW.
Make sure you enable tftp: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
Video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done:

I had a problem on a Windows 10 PC where this didn't work to use TFTP, so I switched to a WIndows 7 PC and the TFTP worked.
Try nmrpflash as well:
IF the router isn't responding too or getting to the TFTP Mode then possible the router is toast and needs replacing.
