After access point setup, getting file not found error
Hello all,
I was reconfiguring my system here and decided to start from scratch via a rest.
The modem is fine out the box (CG3000Dv2 N450), I begin setting up the router as an access poi...
I was able to fix it!
I forgot I had the nighthawk app on my phone, so for the heck of it i wanted to see if i could access the setting for the router that way. The app stated i didn't have a router configured, but it found one would i like to set it up, went thru that setup, tried to login the router and it logged in!

That's a modem+router, not a modem.

Which "the router" is that?

Sounds like a firmware defect, but it could be only a
strange/abnormal configuration.

Does the CG3000Dv2 management web site offer any kind of Attached
Devices report? If so, is the R7000-as-WAP listed there? At which IP
address?

That's a modem+router, not a modem.I am aware it is both, I didn't think I needed to state the obvious. It's also a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem but didn't mention that either.

Which "the router" is that?The nighthawk R7000 Dual Band Router. Since I referenced the CG3000Dv2 N450 as my "modem" and the R7000 as my "router," again, I didn't think I had to state the obvious.

known?Yes, there is, and it's the product of the forum I posted in and listed as my model. I do not know the firmware version since I cannot login. I can say it was automatically updated after purchase and first use.

Which "the information" is that?The information it asks you for when you set up the router as an AP, like the password for my modem/router (CG3000Dv2 N450)

Whose? CG3000Dv2? R7000?I have a wired internet connection through the router (via ethernet cable). Connected via wifi, since the same username and password was used for both devices as directed by the instructions of the access point setup, I actually wasn't sure until I looked at my attached devices on my cable modem/router.
*Edit: After posting, I changed the name of my modem/router's SSID and password, and rebooting the modem/router should have kicked all attached devices off. It didn't it still shows 18 devices connected.

address?Yes, to the IP that I stated above that I used to log into the device. 196.168.0.2 (had listed at 0.X above)
