Cannot remove a device from the list of allowed devices

I am trying to remove an offline device from the list of Allowed devices not currently connected to the network on my Nighthawk RAX80 router (firmware 1.0.10.140_1.0.79). When I check the device then click on <Remove from the list>, the screen refreshes but the device isn't removed from the list. I've also tried clicking on Apply with no success. Trying to Edit that device doesn't work as the edit screen shows another device (the Edit option never really worked on my system, for some reason).

I've tried disabling ad blockers, using a different brower, and using a private session. The results are the same.

This is one more quirk of this router which is giving me more trouble than is worth. Before I consider changing the router, any help would be appreciated.

Seriously? Throwing out a whole router just because you can't remove a device from the list?

Have you tried via the Nighthawk app?

Thanks for the reply. And no, it's not just one issue but a whole bunch of them I've had since I've got it.

The app doesn't allow me to see inactive devices, unless I am missing something.

In this process have your enabled/disabled Access Control and restarted your router a couple of times?

Make sure you have cleared the cache on the web browser you are using.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did enable and disable Access control, although I rebooted the router only once. I'll try again.

As for the cache, I tried a browser (Firefox) which had never connected to the router prior to this.

The only suggestion left in the tool bag is a full firmware default reset and reconfigure from scratch without importing a backup configuration file.  It is truly a PIA, but it has an outstanding success record for resolving router issues of all flavors.
