Which routers work as mesh extenders for the XR500?

routers and extenders are 2 different things. 

Pretty much all of netgears extenders will connect to the XR500.

You just have to choose the features/performance that you want. Like the mesh option. 

Or triband.

Thanks to all of you. I chose a used EAX15 for $75. It should work well enough for my humble needs.

As far as posing in the Gaming forum, this forum did not ask me to go anywhere else. It simply asked me to start a new thread. I did identify my product as a Gaming router, so should the formum not post in the relavant forum, or ask if I want to do that?
