Connecting R6400 to new modem
I received a new modem from Xfinity (XB7-T https://corporate.comcast.com/press/releases/comcast-launches-internet-device-multi-gigabit-speeds-wifi-6 ) and tried to connect to my Netgear R6400. The router is acting as if it's still connected to the old modem and will not connect to the new modem. How do I reset the router and connect to the new modem?

That device is a modem/router combo device. Add in the netgear and your running a double nat.

You can try putting the xfinity device in passthrough/modem only mode. Or you can try putting the netgear in access point mode.
Oh, nice. I did not know that. So much to learn! Now how do I put the netgear in access point mode? haha Thanks!
