Having trouble connecting to my main channel on regular basis it says I can not join

1. What modem are you using? 

2. what firmware are you on? 

3. are you using smart connect?

4. are you connecting to the 2.4ghz or the 5ghz that has issues?

5. is it all devices with issues or just 1? 

6. do wired devices have issues?
