Covering Nighthawk 8

Hi probably a dumb question but I just got my Nighthawk 8 and I'm concerned with it accumulating dust. Basically I have a big family so someone is either on line or watching TV; it will probably be used about 90% of the time.
Would it be safe to cover it with a towel over the vents while I'm at work to prevent dust from ruining it or would that just cause it to overheat?
Thanks

Yeah, I'd say so. Heat is probably a much greater threat than normal
household dust. Add it to your regular vacuum-cleaning schedule, if
you're worried about it. You have a soft brush attachment?
