DOCSIS 3.1 modem/router options to supply two Nighthawk AC4000 Triband WiFi routers (R8000P)
I have two existing Nighthawk AC4000 Triband WiFi routers (R8000P). Which DOCSIS 3.1 modem/router combo will work best with them? I was thinking of purchasing the ORBI WiFi 6 (CBR750) to replace my cable modem/router, and thus eliminate a $15 monthly rental fee from my cable company.
The cable company uses ARRIS but does not care which modem I purchase as long as it is DOCSIS 3.1 compatible. My other option is an ARRIS Surfboard G36.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In my opinion, you are making a mistake to purchase a combination modem/router.
Purchase a good DOCSIS 3.1 modem with a 2.5 Gb output port. Then you can match up with your choice of modems. Go with a mesh system or use your existing R8000P devices as long as you configure one of them as a wired access point.
