Does Nighthawk support USB printers for sharing with Mac OS X?
I've read a lot of discussions here dating many years back to using the ReadyShare software on a Mac to use a USB printer attached to a Netgear Router, and many discussions saying that ReadyShare software (which doesn't run in current versions of OS X) is obsolete and the printer should just show-up when searching the network for printers... but it doesn't.
... aside: an HP 6MP attached via front USB to the Nighthawk router, router interface shows nothing but USB network storage features... nothing about printers. Mac OS X rev 12.13.
As all discussions about using the Netgear routers for printer sharing are 2015 and earlier, I'm guessing Netgear doesn't support USB networked printers currently in Nighthawk routers?

You still have one. I had one of those. Good solid printer.
Ya, not much support anymore for printers on routers.
Your best option would be to find a HP JetDirect box to connect the printer too and connect the JetDirect box to the LAN. Thought you may find it hard to find something that takes parallel or small C connections these days.
