Extending Wifi
Is there a way to boost the 2.4ghz instead of the 5ghz? My extender seems to be boosting the 5ghz and what i'm trying to connect to isn't picking it up so i'm assuming it can't connect to the 5ghz. I'm not sure if i'm just missing something or what but I know very little about the different connections and what not. Thanks

Re: Extending Wifi
The Ex7300 is a dual band extender. It'll boost both bands. But its also a mesh extender. Meaning it uses the same ssid as the router. And it has smart connect. Meaning you might have set it up to use the same ssid for both 2.4ghz and the 5ghz.
You can log into the extender and disable "onessid" and/or smart connect so both bands are visible (if you'd prefer)
