Flashing light on NETGEAR AC1200 Smart Wifi router

Uploaded the image which shows my router current status. It was working fine before the upgrade but post that it is as shown in the image. The router is in dead state.

    what light is flashing? 

    did you factory reset? push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on
