How Do I Connect my R7000 Router to My ATT Hotspot?
I am using an ATT Hotspot for Internet when our wired internet goes down. It has a fairly limited range. I would like to connect it to my R7000 router to extend its range.
How can I set up my R7000 router to get its internet signal from the Hotspot? Thank you for any help you can offer!

That is down to the hotspot.
Connect how? Wifi? Ethernet?
It all depends on how you set up the hotspot and what you have to do to get it to work with the router.
You can check what to do with the R7000 in its manual.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
If Netgear made the hotspot, there is a section for those things.

What att hotspot is it?
Does that hotspot have an ethernet port on it?

Thank you for your reply. The Hotspot is an ATT Velocity that is sold by ZTE on Amazon. Link below. It has no Ethernet port. Just WiFi.
Is it possible to have it connect to the Netgear R7000 router so that the router uses it as the Internet signal source?

Once again, you need to ask the people who made the hotspot for guidance on how to set it up with different devices.
You need to see if it supports "Bridge Mode". In this context that means a Wi-Fi bridge.
The good news is that, unlike many routers, the R7000 supports that.
Manuals are always a good place to start.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Check the section in the manual Set Up the Router in Bridge Mode.
Good luck in tracking down how to set up the ZTE hotspot. Maybe all those Q&As in Amazon cover it. If you are really lucky, AT&T might be able to help.
You could also try this:
