Go to Advanced -> Advanced Setup -> Wireless Settings and uncheck the 5G checkbox then hit Apply
Use the Web GUI at http://192.168.1.1

After a year of using this router, I didn't realize that the mobile app wasn't really logged into the router's full administration capabilities.
Was that IP address shown in the documentation? Ah well, got it now.

Many things are. Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your
model number, and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read.
