Does the VPN client:
1) use your router as a VPN so I can route into my home network connection
2) allow the router to connect to a VPN such as PrivateInternetAccess and then route all traffic through that?
3) both
if 2 or 3, is this the documentation?
Thanks,
Joe

It's 1 and that link is the correct documentation.

Cool. At least I got my answer.
So the only way to do number 2 is to install dd-wrt?

That's great news. I'm gonna try Asusmerlin-wrt. I've had issues setting up guest wireless on DD-WRT.
It will be nice to use PIA VPN configured on the router as opposed to the connecting devices.
