How to turn off WPS on C7800?

How can I trun off WPS on a C7800?  I went through all the options in basic and advanced and don't see an option to disable WPS.  The WPS Wizard is where it seems this is configured doesn't offer an option for turning it off.

Thanks,

_Which_ "wireless, advanced"?  Netgear's management interface
structure has some potentially confusing quirks. Compare, for example:

ADVANCED > Setup > Wireless Setup
and
ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Wireless Settings

there isn't an option to fully disable wps. You can disable the pin based method.

Re: How to turn off WPS on C7800?

Thanks, but unfortunately that procedure doesn't apply to the C7800.  IT doesn't seem to offer a way to ""Disable Router's PIN" option, or uncheck the "Enable Router’s PIN"

Any other suggestions?

the manual shows it as being an option under: ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Wireless Settings.

Thanks for the help.  Unfortunately, my screen for wireless, advanced doesn't look like what the manual shows for tht screen.  I wonder if the version of firmware I have has altered the menu v3.01.43.

Thanks!

The 2nd path "ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Wireless Settings" - had the setting. Weird that they have two ways to get to this, both catagorized as "advanced" with different options.  Someone needs to go back to UI Design school...

I made the change, the gateway did its reset, but I noticed the WPS light is still on the gateway!  Is it really off?? If I click the WPS button it does its blinking thing.  I unchecked "Enable Gateway's pin"  But, I suspect WPS is still enabled.  There are 2 other buttons net to pin entitled keep wireless settings (2.4 and 5).  Disabling them does not seem to make a difference.  In fact after applying this change they turn themselves back on...  fun...

   More lame than weird.

"back"?  It's probably too late now.  Change is bad, I always say.
(Especially when documentation is involved.)  Perhaps it's all just a
lesson in the value of precision in a problem description.

Knowing nothing, I'd run the experiment.  But the button method and
the PIN method are different.  To disable the button method, some
physical alteration might be needed.  Everything's complicated, I
allways say.
