INTERNET Signal indicator RED/ malfunction - DGN2200M -Mobile Edition

I have been using the DGN2200M (Mobile Edition) of ADSL+ Modem Router ; It has the firmware Version :  V1.0.0.37_1.0.21WW presently.

Upon reconfiguring the Modem/Router with the ISP bound to my telefon number,      the Internet Signal indiator on the Modem does not turn GREEN and maintains RED (and there is no internet connectivity).

What possible approaches should I take to test / resolve this OR identify to confirm a hardware malfunction of this modem. ~ Thankyou ~

    It looks like your modem/router is not making a connection to the ISP.

     

    Is the DSL light green as expected?
