Internet Connection drops every 30 minutes - R6700 v2

My Nighthawk router (R6700 v2) drops internet connection every 30 mins like clockwork. When this is happening, the globe icon on the router blinks red for a few seconds. I tried with my older Belkin router and it worked fine without any issues. How do I fix this problem ?

    What firmware version are you on? 

    What modem/gateway is it connected to?

      Current Firmware version : V1.2.0.88_1.0.1

      Modem : Netgear CM500-100NAS. Faced the same problem with Arris Surfboard Modem as well

        Have you enabled IPv6? 

        Has this always happened? 

        Did it just start recently?
