MK63S Bridge mode?

GHreetings everyone,

My first time here, hope Im doing this right?

Anyway.  Ive been trying to set up a wifi mesh system in a large house. I have 2 sets of Nigfhthawk MK63S to use. (in total 2 routers, 4 satalites).

I set the first set up downstairs no problem. Router and two satalites.

Theres a ethernet cable that runs from the downstairs to the upstairs.

What I want to do is put the second router in bridge mode upstairs conected via the cable to the downstairs one but I cant find anywhere to do this in the settings either in the Nighthawk app or signing into the router by its ip address..

Any ideas?  I would be most greatful.

Neil

What you have described is Access Point mode.

Manuals are always a good place to start.

    Visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Check the section in the manual Set up the router as a WiFi access point.

I wouldn't. Unless you truly need the extra router, set all the satellites on the same MR60 router.

michaelkenward is correct in that if you do add the 2nd router, you need to set it in access point mode. But it won't integrate with the other system and act all as one big mesh. Thats why I recommend just leaving the extra router out and using all the satellites on just one router. Then they will all integrate together.
