My R8000p is having issues with the 5G-1 band
So I Got A New Router The Nighthawk 6s (R8000P) and It Worked Like A Charm For The First Few Weeks. Then Recently The 5G-1 band Starts Disappearing And When I Try To Connect On My Phone It Just Says "Obtaining Ip Address". Since It's A Tri-band Router I Tried The Other Bands And They Worked Great. I Don't Know If The Router Is Faulty Or It Has A Bad Firmware Update. But As Of Right Now I've Tried Rebooting It And Resetting It With No Luck.

Re: My R8000p is having issues with the 5G-1 band
some of the R8000P's stuggled with netgear armor for some reason.
Try installing verson 1.4.1.42. Install it over a hardwired connection, then do a factory reset, and new install. Don't install from a backup.
Then disable auto-updates and try it for a bit of time.
