My ex7500 doesn't seem to picking up the 5g signal...can you send a signal to it?

It seems I'm only picking up the 2g signal and not the 5g.  My Zoom calls drop off when I'm holding conference calls in my backyard office.

What router do you have that you're connecting the EX7500 to?

How far away from the router is the extender? 

What materials are the interior of your home made from and how many walls/floors inbetween the router and the extender? (5ghz doesn't broadcast as far or through as much materials)
