My modem
I can not get in to the app it signs me in and kicks me off instantly. What is going on?

Apps don't support modems, unless they're gateways, and even then they're not very well supported.
Do you have a modem or a router or a combo modem-router (gateway)?

Like @microchip8 says, what actual device do you have?
you posted about a modem, in the nighthawk router forum, asking about app issues.
there's multiple forums and tons of different devices.
Model numbers help so we can help you.
