I purchased this router and really like it. However I have a shop that is a bit far from the house to get signal. It is close enough tho to wire it. Would an acess point hooked to my router be my best option? Thanks in advance.

If you have the option to run a wire to a shop and connect a device there in access point mode, that will be your best bet. You're correct in that.
How far it it? You can usually run ethernet 300ft.

Thanks for the response. Been real busy here. I am definately under the 300 foot rule so it sounds like a doable scenerio. I guess now I have to ask what would be the best access point without breaking the bank. Thanks again.
