Netgear AX AX4300

I am currently on firmware V1.0.2.82. I need to update to V1.0.4.100.  When I try to download the file on my PC it fails to unzip. I get an error on BHR page stating "Gui  language file is invalid". I tried using my IOS app to download. Afer using IOS to download, I get "Firmware Check Error"  Indicating There was a problem checking firmware update.   I rebooted BHR and tried again with the same results. The full firmware version is V1.0.2.82_2.0.50.  GUI Language V1.0.2.82_2.1.46.1   Any help out there would be appreciated.

Re: Netgear AX AX4300

What device are you trying on? I just downloaded it and extracted it without issues on a windows 11 device.

Once extracted, then you follow the manual update process.

I take it you have the RAX45 (ax4300 is a speed, not a model)

Re: Netgear AX AX4300

For your future needs, Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NightHawk RAX WiFi 6 Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with NH router products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Thank you.

Yes, I am RAX45.  I tried on PC running Windows 10 (I checked for update and none available)

Thanks for responding. I believe I already tried both the links you sent

You were able to download it?

What were you using (program) to extract the file? The built in "extract all" or a seperate program?

Like I said, I just tried downloading the file.

Re: Netgear AX AX4300

I used the built in 'Extract All' feature in my downloads file.  I tried to open it with Firefox and IE without anay luck

Re: Netgear AX AX4300

once extracted, you don't open the file.

It gets uploaded in the manual update process.
