Netgear EX 6250 Not connecting to devices

Hi, My WIFI Mesh Extender EX6250 is not connecting to devices, each time i have to restart the extender to connect to any device.

Please help me on how to resolve this issue.

What version do you have? 

what firmware is on the extender? 

what router is it connected to? 

Did you set it up using wps or the installation wizard?

This is with Model no. - EX6250

Firmware Version - V1.0.0.134

This extended is connected to DBC 5GHZ router model no. BC-323DAC-HGX

I have installed this Extender EX6250 through Nighthawk application

when its "not connecting" what actual error are you getting or seeing? 

Also, you might try upgrading to the 1.0.0.146 firmware, then do a factory reset/reinstall.

It does not give any error in mobile or laptop it tries to connect with the circle sign and after a minute or two it switches to other network same thing applies if i try to connect mobile, iphone, laptop. But if i restart the extender than i can connect everything to it..... and if i go away from the network range and come back in the range then it does not connect to the devices and the above point continues until i restart the router

did you try upgrading the firmware then factory resetting/reinstalling? 

Also, are you using the mesh function? (one wifi?)

I have just done with the firmware upgradation as per your suggestion. I am not using the Mesh function.

will test now and comment on the change post firmware upgradation.

another thing to try is setting a static ip address in your router for the extender. (if it doesn't work with the firmware upgrade)

Tried updating the firmware, still the device does not connect.

what i see is the mobile phone, SUBNET MASK shows 255.255.0.0 when it tries to connect and when it connects it shows 255.255.255.0

is it some address issue in connecting the mobile to the extender

Did you set it with a static ip address from the router? 

have you tried installing it using the installation assistant and not WPS or the app?

No, i did not tried static IP address, please help me how to set static IP address.

Also i tried installing it through routerlogin.in

you'd need to contact your ISP with setting up a static ip address in that router. Its an isp supplied device. 

to install it using the installation assistant you'd use the mywifiext . net
