Netgear Genie : Every log in = password recovery
EVERYTIME I log in I have to use password recovery... My username and password is correct. I log in... password recovery. Log in 10 minutes later.... password recovery! I bought the router yesterday ...
You have to disable password recovery... really stupid!
Hi, I've used the same details as used when I 1st got the router. I have used various new username/password combinations and been resetting the router more times than I should. All customer service is advicing is to reset the router and go through setup again and again until the issue is fixed.
TBH this is why I flashed DD-WRT the day I bought it (3 months ago). I came back to netgear firmware to see if anythings changed... does not look like it.
