Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 (R7000) - Range Question
So planning on moving to a new 3 story 2000 SQ feet house. The router can only go to one spot which is on the first floor. Question is will I have issues with signal strength? Let me know if there is a better sub for this as well.

That's not a question we can answer 100% because so many things influence broadcast distance. Like materials the home is made from. Certain materials block wifi better than others. We usually tell people to try it out and see what happens.
Whenever they're buying new devices, I recommend people buy from somewhere with a good return policy in case it doesn't meet their needs and they need something better.
In theory, it should work. A single *decent* router can cover that sized home. But you're also not centrally locating it and again, materials that make up the home
